Within the varied Colombian geography, there is an environment even more unknown than the tropical rainforest. The mangroves, amphibian forests of gigantic trees with aerial roots where the cycle of the tides allows for the coexistence of two very different worlds: That of aerial and terrestrial creatures that dwell among the thick vegetation, and the one of aquatic organisms that live on and between the long roots that sink deep below the surface.
